Follow me to the promise land.
So I logged in and saw I had a "follower". Thanks Axis for "following" my trickling blog. This new information has positively affected my self-esteem far more than I believe is normal.
not just one follower. I'm very glad you have this blog, and urge you to keep it up. It has provided valuable information to the public, and has probably served as a check on Flatbush Gardens to keep them in line and doing what they are supposed to do. I'm actually checking out the apartments this weekend, and now have a better idea of what to expect. Thanks, and keep it up!
Thank you for your support and compliment. However, I would be skeptical that Flatbush Gardens even knew about my blog, let alone actually cared. As they say about reputations: a good one is very hard to get and very easy to lose. So it's just not cost effective for them to care. At the end of the day they'll get more people to rent at the current price levels than if they raised the rent $50/month and applied all of those funds to a better management staff. Let's be honest, anyone moving to Flatbush Gardens is clearly "cost conscience". Maybe someday. I mean, if I was in school (i.e. had a lot of free time) I might start a discussion forum and slide a flier about it under everyone's door, or maybe start some kind of tenant association that may have the power to do something. Who knows. I do think the blog is very effective at providing information of a real account of the place, so I'm glad you agree, but I'm not so sure it affects management in the least.
